Dakota is going to be 16 on Tuesday! This is the cake that we are going to make for his birthday ~ its called "Milky Way Cake". Cant wait to try it!!! I cant believe my "Baby" is going to be 16!

This is Grammys sweet little grangirl! Isnt she getting big? She will be 6 months old in December....my little Gracie Baby!

"Isn't She Lovely"

Gracie is getting so big already! She gained 2 lbs already. She is about 5 weeks old. She is such a sweet baby! She looks so much like her Mommy in some pictures and her Daddy in other pictures. She is adorable!

I think this is turning into the "Grammy Loves Gracie" blog~ I just dont have anything else to say right now I guess....its all about Gracelyn for the time being!

Gracie is 3 weeks old on Monday! She is the sunshine in our lives!

Babies are a gift from God! We have truly been blessed. Gracelyn is such a good baby. She only wakes up once in the middle of the night. Grammy and Papa get to see her almost everyday!

What can I say ~ she is the newest love of my life...she had me at her first breath~

She's Here!

Gracelyn Marie Rentz has arrived...she weighed in at 6 lbs and 1/2 oz. Mommy and Baby are doing great! Daddy is too! Grandma and Grandpa and Auntie and Uncle are super excited!

Here are the photo's of the nursery. Nick did a great job measuring it all out and coordinating it with the bedding...and Uncle Dakota helped with the painting. Now all we need is baby. She is due in 9 more days so hopefully we wont have to wait any longer than that!

Sometimes OveranylizingThings Are Good!

For those of you that know me well...and those just getting to know me....I am an over-anylizer!

I ponder for days : what went wrong? Why did that happen? Is it me? Am I over critical? Then I pray for days: Lord give me strength to change whatever it is I am overanylizing at the time. My latest pondering has been my purpose for moving to Florida...and some of you may ask...why did there necessarily have to be a purpose? Well all I can tell you was that there was a very very strong urge to go this time ~ Charlie and I had talked about it for years...we had actually kind of attempted a couple of years ago....why this time? I have been here for a year and a month and I think I finally figured a few things out.

1. The most obvious and easiest to figure out - Nicholas finally met the girl that he had been searching for and is now married and expecting a daughter very soon.

2. Charlie was always sick every winter and I just knew in my heart he would feel better down here and thank the Good Lord he hasnt had the flu or colds at all this past winter. Just a few stomache aches here and there.

3. The one that took me the longest to figure out even though the answer should have been right there in my face the whole time ~ to bring me closer to God, for me to find out who I really am....the good and the bad....and because it really is time for a change!

Mothers Day 2009

We had a great Mothers Day...just stayed home and hung out in the pool and cooked Mexican...Yum!
